At The 2013 Chocolate Fair! Yummmm

HOLA! FYI 1) This post may contain affiliate links, meaning I may get a portion of a sale at no expense to you. 2) Any info you share IS safe with me. Thanks for visiting!! XO.

Hosted at the beautiful Zermatt Resort in Midway, Utah’s first ever Chocolate Festival this past weekend was, in a word, DELICIOUS.

Here’s a round-up of our chocolatey adventure:

Those cupcakes were so gooood. We’re not BIG fans of cupcakes in general, BUT these were uncharacteristically moist. Plus, the option to decorate our own made them even better. I NEED to find who made these.
Mmmmm chocolaaate!!!
How about this lamp, huh? Hahaha
“Where should we go on vacation next?” Haha.. That’s not what she said, actually :).

The Zermatt has these cute mini-homes scattered throughout its premises. These are just two of them. Because I didn’t have a dollhouse growing up, posing next to these was kind of like a dram come true–if only for a few minutes :).
Overall, this event was super fun!! The freebies were yummy but what I didn’t enjoy were the semi-overpriced goodies for sale. A box of six mini truffle bites at a truffle station cost $9, for instance, which I wasn’t in the mood for paying.
Despite that, however, we had a BLAST. We had so much fun, in fact, that we went over to neighboring Heber and took some more pics by one of the old trains (catch that post later this week!). Because it was getting late, however, we didn’t get to pose by ALL of the trains. So we’re for sure going over again when it’s warmer.
