Four Fall Jackets Every Guy Should Jump On

HOLA! FYI 1) This post may contain affiliate links, meaning I may get a portion of a sale at no expense to you. 2) Any info you share IS safe with me. Thanks for visiting!! XO.

We might be in the heat of summer but Fall is right around the corner! (Especially in Utah, where it’s sometimes in the 80s one day and then the 50s the next day.) That means it’s time to start preparing for the next season while the deals are still available.

These are some of the BEST jackets that will help get any guy ready for Fall!

Whether you’re looking for the right leather jacket or want something that adds a bit of extra class to your closet, we’ve got just the thing for you. These are a few of the best jackets that will help get any guy ready for Fall, or the occasional chilly Summer evening.

Here’s Chris in the jacket I got him during our first Christmas in 2014. (This was right after our proposal in November 2015!) He really likes that jacket; it’s cozy, warm, and comfy. Do you also buy clothes for your guy :)?

Leather Jackets

Men's leather jacketIt’s hard to beat a classic leather jacket. It’s a look that’s been unmistakably stylish since the days of James Dean, and it remains just as cool today as it did 50 years ago. While you don’t necessarily have to go full-greaser with your look, a good leather jacket is versatile enough for most occasions. It’s also heavy enough to keep you covered on a cool night but not so much that you’re going to burn up underneath it.

Whether you’re going for the tough black biker jacket or something more appropriate for fall, The Trendspotter notes that both styles are must-haves for every guy. No matter what you do, just make sure you’re not without one by the time Autumn rolls around.

Bomber Jackets

Men's bomber jacketOne of the biggest trends of 2016 for both guys and girls has been the bomber jacket. Whether it’s an oversized coat or something a bit more flashy, the bomber is definitely in for the season. Lyst is offering some inspiration by showcasing everything from timeless looks to more modern takes, which should help you find just the jacket you’re looking for.

Go for the understated classic or make a statement with embroidery or fun colors. Wither way, you can’t go wrong with this classic for 2016.

Blazers

Men's blazerYou can’t go wrong with a good blazer or dinner jacket. While the whole dinner-jacket-with-jeans combo might scream “Silicon Valley Startup Guy,” there are far worse images to conjure. This jacket is a great way to class up any outfit while staying casual enough to have fun. This way you can be ready for a nice dinner with your lady or head out to a ball game with your buddies.

Pair it with a new pair of boat shoes and you’ll be perfectly prepared to close out the summer in style.

Jean Jackets

Men's Jean JacketThe denim jacket is another ever-present classic that’s officially back for 2016. You don’t want to necessarily go full Canadian tuxedo, but a good jean jacket is a great way to cover up without wearing anything too heavy for the summer months. The name says it all with this iconic spring denim jacket highlighted in a list from Brostrick on some of the year’s most popular jackets.

Wear it open with a T-shirt or button it up as its own top, because this is one piece of outerwear that offers a wide variety of options to pull together any outfit.

There you have my useful list of jackets that every guy should buy NOW before the cooler Fall temps come around.

Ladies, if this post gave you ideas for your guy, which jacket would YOU get him first to prep him for Fall?

Chris really likes that jacket I got him!
